The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson), one of the top tag teams globally, are currently signed to Impact Wrestling, helping elevate a very good tag team division.
As a part of the famous Bullet Club stable, Gallows and Anderson became a successful tag team in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Forming this alliance in 2013, they won the prestigious IWGP Tag Team Championship three times.
They also tagged in the United States for Ring of Honor (ROH) and various promotions on the independent circuit. They are good tag team partners, good friends, good brothers, making it work no matter what company, what ring, leading to another good stage.
In February 2016, Gallows and Anderson signed with WWE as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. They won the Raw tag team titles twice. They participated in the epic, historic Boneyard match between their Bullet Club friend AJ Styles and The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36.
(Note: That inspired a match on their own wrestling pay-per-view show.)
After being released by WWE in April because of budget cuts stemming from the pandemic, they later signed with Impact Wrestling. They have their own podcast “Talk’n Shop” and produce their own pay-per-views periodically under the Talk’n Shop A-Mania banner.
Here is my audio interview with The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and “The Machine Gun” Karl Anderson) as they discuss joining Impact Wrestling, its tag team division, their new name, their tag team formation, Bullet Club, singles wrestling, their podcast, their pay-per-views, Disney Plus, Boneyard Match inspiration and more.
Luke “Doc” Gallows, 36, was born in Cumberland, Maryland and resides in Monticello, Georgia. He debuted in pro wrestling in 2005.
“The Machine Gun” Karl Anderson, 40, was born in Asheville, North Carolina, and resides in Fairfield, Ohio. Sporting a baseball background, he made his pro wrestling debut in 2002.
The Good Brothers branding
Anderson has the baseball background, but Gallows is a very good pitchman.
They host a podcast (Talk’n Shop) along with Rocky Romero and also produce their own wrestling shows (Talk’n Shop A-Mania) on pay-per-view. They like to have fun. They dub their podcast #WorstPodcastInTheWorld and their November PPV #WorstPPVSequelEver. What they really mean is it’s the most fun you will ever have.
Being a little bad is good. Hence, The Good Brothers.
